Youth’s Aussie film night
Mid-Western Regional Youth Council presents two great Aussie films this Friday, September 9 at The Stables Community Complex, Market Street Mudgee (enter at the side door). At 6pm it’s Odd Ball and at 8pm The Big Steal. Entry is $3 to watch one movie, $5 for two. Snacks and drinks for sale.
Neighbourly barbecue
A community barbecue will be held at the Running Stream Hall this Saturday, September 10 at 5pm. Come along and have a chat, catch up with the neighbours and enjoy a sausage sizzle by gold coin donation.
Tea and coffee will be served. Please bring a plate of cake or slices for supper to share.

Trash and treasure for History Week
Rylstone and District Historical Society’s Trash and Treasure Fair is on this Saturday, September 10 (local government election day) in the grounds of the Cottage Museum. Book now to hire a stall and sell your unwanted goods, bric-a-brac or craft items or just come along and browse. While you’re there enjoy morning tea and a sausage sizzle run by local community groups.
There’ll also be a photo display in the dining room of the Bridgeview Inn featuring old photographs of the people and the area of Rylstone. Come and find a familiar face or help name unknown faces. For more information or to book a site, phone Anne on 0457 478 784.
Kids and Carers information day
A kids and Carers Support Group information Day will be held at the Kandos Returned Services Community Club at 10.30 am on Wednesday, September 14 to let the community know the services that are available in our local area for anyone caring for, or who has a disability or is in aged care. All welcome.
Annual Charity Day
The Rylstone Club’s Annual Charity Day is on Saturday, September 17. Come along for golf, bowls and an auction. All money raised goes to local not-for-profit groups.
